A redesign of an existing space.

I had collaborated with the client to create a completely transformed space, working with what was already there, with minimal disruption to the ground and existing structures. The focal area around the house provides a softer space to relax, entertain and play in for the young family, compared to the vast patio it started as. The essence of the design is interactions with nature, allowing it to grow and soften the hard edges and corners, providing welcome refuge for wildlife and encouraging exploration.
