Initial Consultation
This will take the form of a video or phone call to discuss your garden, your ideas, and plans for what will be done. I will also ask you questions about yourself and other residents at the property (if applicable) to gain an idea of who will be using the garden, and what their requirements and wishes are. Further discussions on the vision of the space will be had in person during a walk around the space. This is your chance to detail specific ideas, or ask me for advice on design elements. I will make notes, and take photographs of the garden. I will present an initial moodboard and we can discuss ideas further, as well as budgets.
Design Conception
From our discussions on site, and the information provided if a survey is completed, I will create an outline design of your garden. Design drawings and 3D visuals will be presented digitally during a scheduled meeting, where we will discuss any ammendments. Please note: one set of revisions is included in this stage, any further revisions are charged at my hourly rate. Once all parties are happy, we then move onto the next stage.
Detail Design
I will produce detailed drawings of construction details and setting out plans. Here, I will also be able to design any bespoke details.
Garden Construction
Final detail drawings will go to tender and will be costed, or will be discussed with a chosen contractor. A planting plan will be created, and plants will be sourced from a reputable nursery. I can provide a full or partial project management service during the build, to ensure the space comes to full fruition, and full collaboration for all parties involved. Once successfully complete, I can provide a maintenance schedule, and will often revisit the garden to see how it is flourishing post build.
